Welcome to Theory Print LLC ("Theory Print," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website at theoryprint.com, our services, and any communications between you and Theory Print LLC. By using our website, placing an order, or providing your contact information to us, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

About Theory Print

Theory Print LLC is a printing, embroidery, signage, and promotional products shop based in Atascadero, California. We provide custom print and apparel decoration services to businesses and individuals.

Orders and Services

When you place an order with Theory Print, you agree to provide accurate information about your project, artwork, quantities, and delivery requirements. All orders are subject to our acceptance, and we reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

Production timelines, pricing, and specifications are confirmed in writing through quotes or order confirmations. Once you approve a proof and quote, your order moves into production and changes may not be possible without additional cost.

You are responsible for reviewing all proofs carefully before approval. Theory Print is not responsible for errors in artwork, spelling, color, sizing, or layout that were present in an approved proof.

Artwork and Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any artwork, logos, or designs you provide to Theory Print. By submitting artwork to us, you confirm that you have the legal right to use and reproduce it, and you grant Theory Print a limited license to use that artwork solely for the purpose of producing your order.

You agree to indemnify and hold Theory Print harmless from any claims arising from your use of artwork that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.

Designs, mockups, and proofs created by Theory Print remain our property unless explicitly transferred in writing.

Payment

Payment terms are specified on individual quotes and invoices. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the order or per the terms stated on the invoice. Past due balances are subject to an 18% annual percentage rate (1.5% per month).

We accept payment via credit card, ACH, check, and other methods specified at the time of invoicing.

Pickup, Shipping, and Delivery

Orders may be picked up at our shop during posted business hours or shipped via the carrier specified at the time of order. Shipping costs and timelines are estimates and depend on the carrier. Theory Print is not responsible for shipping delays, damage in transit, or losses caused by carriers once an order has been shipped.

Orders not picked up within 30 days of completion may be subject to storage fees or, after 90 days, may be considered abandoned.

SMS / Text Message Communications

By providing your phone number to Theory Print LLC, you consent to receive transactional order status notifications via SMS. These messages may include proof ready alerts, proof revision updates, order status updates, shipping notifications with tracking, and pickup-ready notifications.

Message frequency varies by order, typically up to 10 messages per order. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at hello@theoryprint.com.

SMS communications from Theory Print are governed by our Privacy Policy at theoryprint.com/privacy-policy. We do not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.

Email Communications

By providing your email address to Theory Print, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your orders, including proofs, quotes, invoices, shipping notifications, and customer service correspondence. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in those messages; transactional emails related to active orders cannot be opted out of without canceling your order.

Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations

Custom-printed and decorated items are made to order and generally cannot be returned or refunded once production has begun. If your order arrives defective or differs materially from the approved proof, please contact us within 7 days of receipt and we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include reprinting, replacement, or a refund at our discretion.

Orders may be canceled before production begins; once production has started, cancellation may not be possible or may incur fees for work already completed.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Theory Print LLC, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services, our website, or any orders placed with us. Our total liability for any claim related to an order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the fitness of any product for a particular purpose beyond what is explicitly stated in your order confirmation.

Website Use

You agree to use our website lawfully and respectfully. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with the operation of our website, or use our website for any illegal or harmful purpose.

The content on our website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Theory Print LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services (such as payment processors, shipping carriers, messaging providers, and analytics tools) to operate our business. Your interactions with these services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of San Luis Obispo County, California.
